Labino GX Orion Overhead UV Bench Light
The Labino GX Orion OverHead UV LED Bench Light is an advanced overhead UV inspection system designed for efficient and reliable NDT inspection applications.
Built with the latest UV LED technology, the GX Orion system is ideal for fluorescent magnetic particle testing (MT), fluorescent penetrant testing (PT/FPI). The modular design allows multiple units to be connected together, enabling users to customise the inspection coverage area to suit specific testing environments & requirements.

The GX Orion range is available in three different model versions:

Remote-controlled version with adjustable UV intensity levels ranging from 1,500 to 7,000 µW/cm².

UV-only version with a simple ON/OFF function.

UV & white light model featuring independent ON/OFF controls for enhanced inspection flexibility.

Engineered to meet demanding industry standards, the GX Orion Series has versions to comply with ASTM E3022-18 and ISO 3059-12 requirements, as well as PRIMES specifications. The GX Orion UV-Only Version meets the stringent Rolls-Royce RRES 90061 specification, ensuring high-performance inspection accuracy.

The system delivers an exceptionally uniform UV beam profile with no LED footprints, shadows, dark spots, or uneven light distribution, providing consistent inspection results across the entire working area. Every GX Orion model also features an integrated PLC interface, allowing seamless connection to existing PLC systems for complete remote monitoring and operational control via computer.
Users can configure “mother” and “extension” units with or without remote panels and power switches to create a fully customised overhead UV inspection solution.

GX Orion Remote Mother Unit (L3100)
Labino GX Orion REMOTE has been tested to comply with both ASTM E3022-18 and ISO 3059-12 standards.

It generates an intensity that can be adjusted to vary from approximately 1 500 to 7 000 μW/cm2 , at a distance of 15 inches / 38 cm.

It has a powerful white light that can illuminate 1 076 lux (100 fc) at a distance of 12 inches / 30 cm.

A remote control allows you to switch on/off the UV and white Light, change the intensity and set up the timer from up to 5 meters (16 feet) away.
Mounting Arrangements
Multiple Labino GX Orion “extension” units can be mounted on a “mother” unit on either the long side or short side.
This modular overhead UV System allows you to design the desired covered area by mounting together multiple units.

GX Orion UV & WH has been tested to comply with both ASTM E3022-18 and ISO 3059-12 standards. It has also been tested to comply with Airbus AITM6-1001 at a working distance of 21 inches / 53 cm.

UV Protection
The Labino UV Blocking Glasses (S505) and Full Faceshield (S400). These clear lens spectacles and faceshields offer 99.9% protection against ultraviolet radiation, provide optimum viewing contrast and help reduce fatigue. They are lightweight and fit comfortably.
Foot Pedal for GX Series
Labino Foot Pedal for GX Series (A605 or A603) can be used to power on the GX Orion lamps as an alternative to using the Control Panel, Remote Control or on/off buttons. The benefit of using this power foot pedal is that it is easier to operate if you work using large gloves or if you don’t have both your hands free. It is also beneficial in cases when the lamp is installed in a position where it is not accessible.

Power Button for GX Series
