ISonic utPod

The ISONIC utPod manufactured by Sonotron delivers full functionality of the top performance ultrasonic detector such as;

ISONIC utPod LF is the modified version of ISONIC utPod adopted for the low frequency ultrasound applications.  It is characterised by the appropriately modified frequency band of the receiver and the limits for manipulating duration of the initial pulse – (see technical data below).  ISONIC utPod LF is predominantly used for applications requiring low frequency, used for wind turbine inspection.

ISONIC utPod LF is suitable for the inspection of highly attenuating materials such as concrete, fibreglass, rubber, special purposes composites and other materials, etc.  The upper limit of the frequency band keeps the opportunity for the inspection of metals and the like.

The portable all functional remote controlled ultrasonic flaw detector ISONIC utPort was designed to carry the ultrasonic card of ISONIC utPod.  It was designed for being used either as a permanent sensor or a core element fitted into the frame of remotely operated vehicles (ROV).  Depending on the inspection task to be resolved ISONIC utPort is available in the regular or low frequency version with the parameters identical to ISONIC utPod or ISONIC utPod LF accordingly

The zero point test and annual verification procedures of ISONIC utPod and ISONIC utPod LF are fully compliant with the international standards below and the corresponding national norms
